Zack Estrin Passed Away At The Age Of 51

Zack Estrin, a well-known producer, and screenwriter died on September 23 at the age of 51. Zack Estrin studied film production at the University of Southern California and worked on productions such as Stranger Than Fiction and O. He began his career in television as a producer in the 1990s, working on dramas such as Charmed, Dawson’s Creek, and Tru Calling. Zack rose to prominence as a producer on the Fox series Prison Break. He served as co-executive producer on the program before being promoted to executive producer.

He was the creator of three ABC fantasy shows: The Whispers, The River, and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Zack was the showrunner and executive producer of Lost in Space, a Netflix drama that ran for three seasons from 2018 to 2021. He was also recognized for his efforts in drama programs such as The Good Guys and Point Pleasant. Estrin, according to WME president Ari Greenburg, was a client for about 25 years and a mentor to numerous authors. Greenburg expressed gratitude for the opportunity to call him a friend.
