Biography of Jordan Nyesom Wike
The son of the Governor of Rivers, Nyesom Wike, Jordan Nyesom-Wike, has just received his degree from the University of Exeter, located in the United Kingdom.
At the aforementioned institution, Jordan Nyesom Wike received his Law degree with Second Class Honors, Superior.
On the other hand, the family of Governor Wike and several other PDP governors attended the graduation.
Governor Nyesom Wike in office
Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, CON is a Nigerian politician and lawyer, born December 13, 1967. He currently serves as the sixth governor of Rivers State and is currently in office. He is an Ikwerre and is from Rumuepirikom in Obio-Akpor, located in Rivers State. He is a supporter of the People’s Democratic Party and graduated in science and technology from Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
Wike served as Executive Chairman of the Obio Akpor Local Government Area for a total of two terms, beginning in 1999 and ending in 2007. His appointment as Minister of Education took effect on 14 July 2011. Wike was appointed to this position acting education minister after Ms. Ruqqayatu resigned. On the other hand, he decided to run for governor of Rivers state so he resigned before the end of his term. Viola Onwuliri takes over as team leader in his absence.
