Šramková started playing tennis at the age of six. She turned professional in 2013. Her best Grand Slam singles performance came at the 2017 US Open, where she reached the second round.

Šramková has won 12 singles titles on the ITF Women’s Circuit. She has also reached the quarterfinals of two WTA Tour events: Palermo in 2017 and Budapest in 2019.

Šramková is currently coached by her father, Jozef Šramka.
