Wickliffe mourns the passing of Philip B. DiDonato at the age of 92. He was a devoted husband to the late Emily M. (nee Medves), a loving father to Larry B., Mark J. (Stacy), John A. (Joyce), Doreen McHenry, and the late Andrew P. DiDonato’s memory lives on through his role as a beloved grandfather to Diana, Curtis, Michael, Matthew, Gina, Matthew, Andrew, Jamie, Jessica, Jodie, John, and Jacob. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Isabella, Jalen, Kristina, Bryson, Landyn, and Gaige.
Preceded in death by his sisters Ann Solie and Thelma Noakes, Philip B. DiDonato was a dearest brother. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Wickliffe. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 P.M. at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Wounded Warrior Project.org, Attn: Advanced Guard, 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 33256, in honor of Philip B. DiDonato’s commitment to service and sacrifice. The community comes together to honor and remember a life well-lived, offering condolences to the family during this period of grief.
