It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the sudden passing of Jensen Morrisen, a beloved member of the Overton Youth FC U13 team. Our deepest sympathies and thoughts are with Jensen’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
Jensen was an integral part of Overton Youth FC club for four years, and he was more than just a teammate. Described by his team manager, Tim, as an exceptional young man with a passion for football, Jensen embodied the spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and dedication. He was a role model for the entire team and a true credit to our club.

The loss of Jensen has left a void in team and community that words cannot express. As a mark of respect and to honor Jensen’s memory, Overton Youth FC U13 game is postponed. Throughout the weekend, other teams will wear armbands during their games to pay tribute to Jensen and to let his family know they are in our thoughts and hearts.

In due time, we hope to find a meaningful way to honor Jensen and his unwavering commitment to Overton Youth Football Club. To support Jensen’s family during this challenging period, a GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with funeral expenses and give him the farewell he rightfully deserves. It is stated on page:
“Our beautiful Jensen, with the warmest, kindest soul has gained his angel wings. His beauty in life shall continue onto his next journey.
I’m sure, like many, we all want to unite in some way to support Tony, Nicky and Isla and show them how much we care and how very loved Jensen was.
After receiving an abundance of requests and loving ideas from the wider community, we have all decided to come together to set up a page to donate to Jensen’s funeral and give him the send off he so rightfully deserves.
Let us unite as we lift our precious Morrisen family while they mourn the great loss of their beautiful Jensen.
May he rest sweetly and peacefully and live on in all of our hearts.”
