Influencer Maria Ignacia Celedon dies in horrific car accident, boyfriend injured

Maria Ignacia Celedon, a 28-year-old Chilean influencer known as MaruRockets on social media, had a terrible car accident that ended her promising career. The incident happened in Chile and tragically resulted in the deaths of six people, including Celedon. She passed away on July 31, 2023.

Maria was traveling with her partner, YouTuber Ignacio Carrasco, also known as DimeNacho, who miraculously survived the crash along with fellow influencer Yang Hsin, better known as ShiniPan. Both Ignacio and Hsin required hospital treatment for their injuries.

The accident occurred in Punta Arenas, near the tip of Chile’s southernmost Patagonia region. After the crash, Ignacio Carrasco’s sister, Sofía, known for her YouTube channel The Adventures of Sofía, provided an update on his health. He suffered a broken collarbone and pulmonary contusion but is in a stable condition.

Sofía thanked everyone for their messages and concern and expressed the family’s mourning for the loss of Celedon. She hoped that both Ignacio and Maria would recover well.

In one of his last social media posts, Ignacio Carrasco expressed his deep love and appreciation for Maria, highlighting the impact she had on his life and the wonderful moments they shared together.

Over the years, Maria Ignacia Celedon had built a large following on various platforms, captivating audiences with her charming personality, creativity, and positive energy. She had 26,000 dedicated fans on Instagram and almost 10,000 enthusiastic supporters on Twitch. Her passion for gaming was evident in her digital presence, and she shared her adventures with great enthusiasm, drawing many people into her world.

Tragically, Maria’s life was cut short due to a terrible accident that may have been influenced by poor road conditions and frost in the region. However, Ignacio Carrasco managed to survive the crash despite suffering serious injuries.
