Dr David Fecteau, Quebec Clinique Médicale Propulsion pediatrician, dies in accident at 46

Quebec’s medical community is mourning the untimely death of pediatrician Dr. David Fecteau, who tragically passed away at the age of 46 after being involved in a fatal accident. The respected doctor was pronounced dead at the Enfant-Jésus Hospital, surrounded by his beloved family, including his loving wife, Marylène Villeneuve.

A native of Trois-Rivières residing in Quebec, Dr. Fecteau had a distinguished career marked by a commitment to medicine and community service. He pursued his education at Laval University, obtaining a Medical Doctorate with specializations in Pediatrics and sports medicine.

Dr. Fecteau’s professional journey included roles as a general pediatrician and sports doctor at the Trois-Rivières Regional Hospital Center. He later served as a doctor-evaluator at the Quebec Pension Board and assumed leadership as the President of Enoya St-Roch and Beauport at ENOYA.

Transitioning into a pediatric role, he became a valuable contributor at ProActive Santé medical clinics and held positions as a Shareholder and Director at Kinatex Sports Physio Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré. Since May 2020, he actively served as a Pediatrician at Propulsion Medical Clinic.

Dr. Fecteau’s untimely passing leaves behind his grieving parents, wife, children, daughter-in-law, and extended family. The community will pay tribute to him at the Lépine Cloutier funeral complex on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a ceremony at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Complexe Hamel.
