“Statement from the Cason family…To family and friends of the Cason family, on the 5th of November we lost Angelena Marie Cason. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 kidney cancer on August 18th. Her battle was vigorous and powerful but she ultimately succumbed to the overwhelming complications from it.She was a phenomenal wife, mother, friend, and human. She was known and loved by many: Angelena was a positive force in peoples’ lives and enriched them with her existence. The loss of her presence cannot be quantified into words. She will be missed beyond measure.We are honoring her with a beautiful funeral and a celebration of life event.Both will be held Monday, November 13th.The funeral service will be held at Glendale Cemetery at 1pm.The celebration of life event will be held at The Shop event center (901 Cherry Street) from 5pm to 10pm.Food, beverages, and memories will be available.”
