In a shocking turn of events, 48-year-old John Hallett has been apprehended in connection with the gruesome murder of his roommate, Paul Gonzales, back in 2017 in Indiana. Hallett stands accused of not only killing Gonzales but also of the disturbing act of concealing his body for an extended period before dismembering it.
The chilling case came to light after a meticulous investigation by law enforcement, led by Detective Lieutenant Anna Painter. The investigation was initiated in August 2022, when Detective Painter began suspecting foul play in the Indiana residence they shared.
