Ron Paul was born on August 20, 1935. He was born in the city of Pittsburgh. Howard Casper Paul was his father’s name. He had a modest dairy business. His father was of German ancestry. His grandparents immigrated to the United States from Germany. His grandma was a German-American as well. He attended Dormont High School. He won the state championship in the 100-meter dash.
Ron went to Gettysburg College. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 1961, he received his medical degree from Duke University. Later, he interned at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. From 1963 to 1965, he served as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force. Following that, he joined the Air National Guard. He started his own practice in Texas.
