Alina, married to Orthopedic surgeon Brian Page for nearly 16 years, had two young children. The circumstances leading to her fall remain unclear, with reports suggesting it occurred after an argument with her husband regarding her alcohol consumption. Brian, expressing profound grief, claims he was not at home when the incident unfolded.
The luxury apartment building, known for its stringent safety measures, has raised questions about how such a tragedy could occur. Residents attest to high railings on the roof and specially designed windows with child safety measures. Alina was discovered critically injured at York Avenue and East 92nd Street and was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell but did not survive. The family was residing in a family-friendly building offering a private shuttle service to the subway.
Originally from Russia, Alina was active on social media, sharing joyful moments with her children.
