Merseyside Police reported a distressing incident in Liverpool involving multiple individuals in their 20s sustaining stab wounds. The discovery of a man in critical condition with stab wounds at Church Street and Whitechapel prompted police action around 5:30 am on Wednesday. Patrols intervened and provided immediate medical assistance before transferring the individual to a hospital.
Simultaneously, two other men in their 20s arrived at a hospital, one with a backstab wound and the other with a head laceration. Authorities suspect these injuries are linked to a confrontation on Victoria Street involving a significant number of men.
The city center’s roads have been closed off to facilitate the ongoing investigation. Forensic teams were observed at the scene, conducting inquiries on Peter Street near The Safehouse, while police presence remained evident outside the club on Victoria Street.
