Toby Day, a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, was confirmed to have passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. His sudden demise has left a lasting impact on the lives of those he touched. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mrs. Loretta Day, and their son, Thomas Day, as the sole remaining members of his immediate family. Toby Day will always be remembered and missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him during his lifetime.

He helped me so much in school, and he was also generous to help me even after I graduated. Such a wonderful man. He is going to be missed more than words can say.”
Mr. Day made significant contributions during his tenure at the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where he served as the Director of Business Services and Educational Cremation Center. A licensed funeral director in both Indiana and Ohio, he was deeply committed to guiding families through a meaningful funeral experience, understanding the importance of bidding farewell and creating peaceful memories to facilitate a healthy grieving process.
With academic achievements from Ivy Tech Community College (2016) and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science (AAS – 2018, BMS – 2021), Mr. Day took great pride in sharing his expertise with aspiring funeral service providers. He leaves a lasting legacy through the knowledge he imparted to students who will carry on the compassionate work he valued.
