“The Problem With Jon Stewart” Season 2 Is Set To Released On Apple TV+

This month brings some positive news for Jon Stewart fans. Trouble with Jon Stewart, the comedian’s popular talk show, is returning to Apple TV+ this month. It premieres on March 3, 2023. The first season of the commentary-style show premieres in 2021, presented by The Daily Show veteran Jon Stewart who is more than just a comic famous but also a notable political professional, a provocateur, actor, producer and television presenter.

During his tenure, the show grew in popularity and received critical acclaim with 22 Primetime Emmy Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several honors in news and journalism. He was the longest-running host of the Daily Show from 1995 to 2015 when he was succeeded by comic book Trevor Noah. After he left, he started showing The Trouble with Jon Stewart on Apple TV+.

Season 2 of Trouble with Jon Stewart returns with talks about the military, crime, de-culture, inflation, and fascism.

According to the official press release issued by Apple TV+ Press on April 7, 2022, the current concept of the show is as follows:

“The Trouble With Jon Stewart” is an hour-long, multi-season documentary that will examine topics that are currently part of the national discussion and his campaign. To continue the conversation, each season of the series will be further reviewed in an additional podcast.

Season two, however, will introduce the series’ first foreign negotiations with a number of foreign policy officials. Stewart was seen confronting Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge over the state’s sex discrimination ban in a preview for the upcoming season.

According to an Apple TV+ press release from February 2023:

“The second season continues with six brand new segments covering topics such as crime, military strategy, inflation, and the decline of democracy. The series covers difficult, current, and culturally changing discussions from the perspectives of stakeholders, experts, and those facing these issues, using humor and common sense.

Some of the notable characters slated to appear in The Trouble with Jon Stewart this season include:

  • General David Petraeus delivers a security speech.
  • Natham Dahm (R-OK) details crime and guns.
  • California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) speaks on prison reform and rehabilitation.

In the first season of the series, the presenter will travel abroad to speak with foreign policy experts.

The Problem With Jon Stewart: Podcasting and Livestreaming

The series also has related audio of the same name available on iTunes Podcasts and through the RSS platform. The show is also well-liked and has received numerous awards such as the Ambie Award for Outstanding Conversational Sound. Last year, the Adweek Podcast of the Year Awards named it Best Talk Podcast, and it won the People’s Choice Podcast Award for Best Male Presenter and Best News & Politics Show. best.
