Carthage, Mississippi – The Alcorn State University community is in mourning following the unexpected passing of one of its cherished students, Tamarian Leflore. The young resident of Carthage, Mississippi, tragically departed from this world on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the tender age of 21. As of now, the official cause of Tamarian Leflore’s untimely demise has not been disclosed.
Born on May 3rd, 2002, in Carthage, Mississippi, Tamarian Leflore was a graduate of Leake Central High School. Following her high school education, she pursued her studies at East Central Community College. Tamarian was a warm and friendly presence, whether in school, at church, or during her time at Walmart.
Her beauty transcended the physical realm, radiating from her inner kindness and compassion. Tamarian possessed a remarkable ability to bring laughter effortlessly to those around her, a gift that endeared her to many. Her infectious humor and genuine benevolence were integral parts of her character, making her an exemplar of what it means to be truly exceptional.
Her friends often described her as the go-to person for a hearty laugh, and Tamarian’s presence brought joy and solace to those she surrounded.
