On Sunday, five crew members are said to have boarded an OceanGate Expeditions submersible for an underwater tour of the wreck.

“We anticipate between 70 and 96 full hours at this point,” Rear Admiral John Mauger of the US Coast Guard told reporters.
To conduct a search in the so-called “distant” part of the ocean, two planes, a submarine and a sonar buoy were sent. In a statement posted on Facebook, OceanGate said it was “exploring and mobilizing all options to bring the crew back safely”.
