Sophie’s tragic passing on Friday morning following a car accident on Highway 81 in York has left family, friends, and the community in shock and deep sorrow. Sophie was known for her commitment to education, as evidenced by her pursuit of a Doctor of Human Services in Leadership and Organizational Management (DHS) at Capella University. Previously employed at Southeast Community College, she had made significant contributions to her professional field. Her engagement to Kevin Loos added an element of love and joy to her life, exemplifying the happiness she found in her relationships.
