Rosing punched Spring several times, kicked her in the stomach, and bit her arm while calling her by the n-word several times. Since then, many videos of her problematic behavior have surfaced online. In one of the videos, Rosing can be heard saying,
“I’m as rich as f**k, and you can’t compare to what you’re wearing and I can sue you, and there’s nothing you can do about it, especially since you don’t know my f** name King’s last.

A Police officer arrested her at the Kentucky Police Department. She was charged with being drunk in public, assaulting a Police officer, assaulting another person and disorderly conduct.
On November 6, Rosing pleaded not guilty to all charges against her and was represented by Fred Peters. An impeachment hearing took place in the presence of her parents. The hearing was conducted in one videoconference connection from the Fayette County Detention Center in Fayette County.
She was released on bail with the $10,000 her parents paid. According to her bail condition, she was forbidden to drink alcohol, contact Kylah Spring and return to the dormitory.
Her first trial is scheduled for November 15, 2022.
On Tuesday, November 15, Rosing appeared before Judge Linsady Thurston of Fayette County Court.
Rosing’s attorney, Fred Peters, said, “We are willing to waive her preliminary hearing before the Fayette County grand jury.”
Rosing has yet to apologize to Kylah Spring. She still blames alcohol for her racism rather than taking responsibility for her actions.

On Monday pleaded not guilty to charges of public intoxication, third-degree assault against a police officer, fourth-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct.
Rosing is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center, where she refused to disclose her identity to authorities upon arrival early this morning.
She is classified as Jane Doe because she is not cooperating with the Police.

Kylah Spring, a University of Kentucky student and art student from Memphis, Tennessee, said she was attacked while doing her student work on Facebook. She said she was repeatedly called n***** and that the attacker, later identified as Sophia Rosing, bit her hand several times.
“I am a desk clerk at Boyd Hall at the University of Kentucky, and it is my duty to notify the RA of any drunken students who appear unwell,” Spring said.
When I first entered the house, this girl was drunk, so I asked her if she was okay and tried to convince her to sit down; she’s not a resident either, so I tried to dissuade her from using the elevator.

She shared videos of the event, which showed Rosing repeatedly using the n-word and attacking Spring and another child. She can also be heard in a video clip repeatedly saying n ***** as a University of Kentucky Police officer tries to handcuff her. Spring says the event happened at 1 a.m.
Spring said in a video posted Sunday morning, “She didn’t look like a resident, so I didn’t answer the door.” But upon entering, she staggered past the reception to the elevator and started chatting with it.
“She kept glaring at me and started calling me *****,” Spring said after asking Rising if she was okay. … She kept repeating it, so I went inside to get the number RA was calling.
And when I came back, I tried to get her to sit down and prevent her from getting into the elevator because she didn’t seem to be a resident, because she didn’t have a phone or an ID.
The only reason the elevator opened was because another student was out. So I went in, tried to gently push her aside and said, ‘Hey, can you come over and sit here for me?’”
“Sophia kept going, ‘No n *****, you f***** n *****, you’re ab****, you’re a ****, do my housework b****,” Spring announced. And she kept doing it while I tried to get her to sit down. She bit my arm and hit me in the face… She also kicked my stomach.
She tried to run over me with a grocery cart in the lobby and bite my friend and another woman trying to help me defuse the situation. We were just trying to get the woman to sit down because she was drunk and fell.
‘Do my duty,’ she said, ‘you’re black not my fault’, ‘you’re ugly not my fault’, ‘you’re ugly and unlucky’.
“This girl was constantly berating me, not only with her words but also with her hands and body, which hurt me,” Spring said. When the Police arrived, the girl tried to bite and kick the policeman, and they couldn’t get much information from her.
She was detained…. I don’t want this to be another case where I don’t get the justice I deserve.”
Sophia Rosing Fired As Dillard Brand Ambassador After Incident
According to a now-deleted post, Sophia Rosing had a brand ambassador deal with Dillard’s.
“I had an internship in social media marketing and with a visual sales manager,” Rosing posted on LinkedIn. “I am honored to be a member of Dillard’s Campus Collective!”
Dillard’s has announced on social media that it has severed ties with Rosing due to the incident. “Dillards does not condone this behavior,” the company tweeted. Her contract with Dillard’s was terminated immediately.”
Due to her behavior, students and alumni have called for Rosing’s expulsion from the University of Kentucky. Some people have claimed on social media that she is a sorority member.
However, it is unclear if this is real, and if so, to which sorority she belongs.
Julian Downey, a UK freshman, told WCYT: “I was really disappointed to see one of my students act like that to another of my students.
“I just hope everyone in the UK always feels safe and comfortable, and that’s not what happened.”
