In this capacity, Firtel demonstrated extensive expertise in procuring, repositioning, and managing commercial properties, including retail, industrial, and value-added multifamily properties across diverse markets. Since joining Oro Capital Advisors in 2012, he led daily operations, managed assets, and played a crucial role in acquisition, stabilization, and redevelopment efforts.
Steven Firtel’s professional journey began at a private equity firm affiliated with Hughes Research Lab, where he collaborated with scientists on the commercialization of their inventions. He later co-founded Trojan Lending, a wholesale mortgage correspondent bank, and held the position of Managing Director and Corporate Counsel at Bomel Companies, overseeing a commercial real estate portfolio valued at over $500 million.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Firtel was actively involved in charitable endeavors, volunteering for various organizations and serving on multiple committees.
