In a poignant turn of events, Keisha Whitaker, the former wife of acclaimed actor Forest Whitaker, has passed away at the age of 51. The couple, who initially crossed paths on the set of “Blown Away” in 1994, exchanged vows in 1996 and shared a life together for over two decades. From this union, they welcomed three daughters, including Sonnet, aged 27, and Autumn, aged 32.
Despite a marriage that endured for more than 20 years, Forest Whitaker filed for divorce from Keisha in 2018, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation. The dissolution marked the conclusion of a significant chapter in their lives.
