A native of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Randy graduated from Westlane Secondary School in 2000 and furthered his education at Niagara College, where he studied Automotive Service, graduating in 2006. Throughout his career, Randy held key roles, serving as Fleet Manager at Niagara Traffic Safety Management in Niagara Falls and as a Fleet Technician at Mike Knapp Ford Sales in Welland and Kearl Lake Oil Sands (Imperial Oil) in Fort McKay.
Known for his calming presence and unique humor, Randy Barkwill was more than a colleague; he was a loving brother to Brendon Hall and Terra Barkwill. Those who had the privilege of knowing him remember him as someone who could soothe even the most distressed soul.
