Motorcycle rider Kevin Frazier killed in southern York County accident

Fawn Grove, PA – The community of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania, is reeling from the loss of Kevin Frazier, 64, following a tragic accident on December 13, 2023. Frazier, a local resident, passed away due to blunt force trauma sustained in the collision.

The incident unfolded at 3:04 PM on December 13, where Kevin Frazier, riding his 2022 Ducati Monster motorcycle, collided with the rear of a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 17-year-old boy along West Main Street/Route 851. Reports from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) indicate that Frazier, wearing a helmet, was traveling at an excessive speed and following too closely behind the Silverado when the collision occurred.

Deputy Coroner Michele Kirchner responded to the scene for investigation and certification of Frazier’s death at approximately 3:34 PM. While the teenage driver emerged unharmed, Frazier, despite wearing his helmet, succumbed to the impact of the crash.

PSP highlighted the posted speed limit in the area as 35 MPH, emphasizing that Frazier’s exact speed remains unknown. However, it was underscored that had he survived, Frazier could have faced a citation for driving at an unsafe speed.

Main Street, between Market Street and Kennard-Dale High School, remained closed as of 6:30 PM following the tragic accident. Coroner Pam Gay clarified that while no autopsy is planned, routine toxicology tests have been conducted, determining blunt force trauma as the official cause of Frazier’s accidental death.

Details regarding Kevin Frazier’s obituary and funeral arrangements are anticipated to be announced by the family at a later date.
