Amidst the chaos, the Burrell School District swiftly initiated a lockdown of its buildings, ensuring the safety of students and staff in response to the shocking incident. Fortunately, the suspected gunman was apprehended shortly before 9:30 a.m., leading to the lifting of the lockdown.
