Michael Legault obituary: Young man passes away in Lisbon train accident in Vancouver

Vancouver, Canada – The Vancouver community is in mourning following the tragic passing of Michael LeGault, a 30-year-old resident of Kitchener, Ontario, who was involved in a fatal train accident in Lisbon, Portugal.

Michael LeGault, affectionately known as Mikey, had been reported missing, and his family was heartbroken upon receiving the news of his untimely demise. Details surrounding the timeline of his identification and notification to his family remain uncertain, as his missing person case remained open for an extended period. Mikey had previously held the position of Managing Director at Moose Travel Network and had recently relocated to British Columbia from Kitchener, Ontario.

The search for Michael LeGault began after he went missing while on a trip to Portugal. He was attending the World Youth and Student Travel Conference at the Lisbon Congress Centre during the weekend of September 16.

LeGault, a Vancouver resident, was last seen at the K Urban Beach Night Club at approximately 5:30 a.m., dressed in a grey shirt and dark pants. He stood at 176 cm in height, had wavy red hair, fair skin, and sported a tree tattoo on his right calf.

Ayla LeGault shared   his love and sorrow on the death of his brother Michael Legault. He stated that:
