Her artistic journey was marked by abstract creations using pen and ink on paper and alcohol ink on Yupo, drawing inspiration from the intricate patterns and movements found in the natural world.
Although much of her artistic prowess was self-taught, Anna further honed her skills by attending prestigious institutions such as Otis College of Art and Design and Art Center College of Design. From 2005 to 2010, Anna Bondoc successfully ran her business, Anna Bondoc Designs, offering intricate paper cuts with multiple layers as fine art, stationery, and licensed patterns. Her work received accolades from publications like Apartment Therapy, Traditional Home, and Cloth, Paper, Scissors. Her expertise culminated in the publication of “Simply Paper Cutting,” a how-to book published by Fox Chapel Publishing in 2012.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Anna Bondoc was a dedicated writer and educator who imparted her knowledge in Language Arts and Visual Arts to students in public and independent middle and high schools across Southern California. She was a graduate of the Honors English program at the University of Michigan, where she earned her degree. Anna leaves behind a cherished legacy, a loving family, and a host of admirers who will forever treasure her contributions to the worlds of art, education, and design.
