Bellevue, Washington – The untimely passing of Kevy Wijaya, the esteemed Medical Director of Stepping Stone Pediatrics, has left a void in the hearts of family, friends, and devastated patients. He departed on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and compassion in pediatric healthcare.

Confirmation of Wijaya’s passing came through a heartfelt post on Facebook, announcing the unexpected loss of the cherished Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. His departure from this world has deeply impacted the community he served.

Kevy Wijaya’s academic journey was marked by a commitment to excellence. He earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology and Chemistry from Arkansas Tech University in 2007, followed by a Master of Science (MSN) degree in Pediatrics at Yale University in 2011. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Wijaya obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Global Health & Infectious Diseases from The University of Edinburgh between 2018 and 2021.

His professional trajectory included pivotal roles in healthcare. From 2011 to 2013, he served as a Primary Care Provider at Healthy Future Pediatrics in Olympia, Washington. Subsequently, he contributed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the Emergency Department at Seattle Children’s from 2013 to 2014. A dedicated educator, Wijaya lectured at Bellevue College for 6 years and 9 months, starting in April 2017, before assuming the position of Partner & Principal Primary Care Provider at Stepping Stone Pediatrics.

Wijaya’s extensive healthcare experience encompassed a tenure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at The Catherine Kolnaski School-Based Health Center (SBHC) from January 2009 to January 2011. His compassionate approach and expertise in treating children with acute and chronic conditions highlighted his commitment to patient care. Known for his exceptional time management and prioritization skills, Wijaya consistently strived to elevate the standard of healthcare.
