Mamadou’s Childhood and Family
Mamadou Ndiaye was born on September 14, 1993, in Dakar, Senegal, to M’bad and Seynabou Ndiaye. His parents had also given birth to his elder sibling, Adam. Mamadou’s passion for sports was clear from boyhood in Senegal, although he preferred soccer over hoops. However, following a growth spurt in his adolescence, he grew to be rather tall and started playing basketball more often.
