HASLET, TX – A devastating motorcycle accident on Sunday night has left a 21-year-old man “Landon Fuson” dead in western Tarrant County. The incident, which occurred on FM 156, has prompted an investigation by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office to determine the cause of the tragic accident.
His friends and family members are in shock and disbelief as a facebook post by Rylee Greene reads:
“Landon Fuson and i grew up together. i remember the first day of kindergarten, elliot was in the hall crying not wanting his mom to leave and landon and i were the first to go out there and tell him to come sit with us and he’d be just fine, ever since then we’ve grown together, there’s at least a million amazing and funny stories i could share of us. my heart and condolences go to his amazing family that was friends with my family way before we were even born that i still consider close family friends and love so much, i can’t even imagine the heartbreak. landon was such an amazing guy, he was always so loving to anyone he encountered, he loved his family more than anything in the entire world. we may not have talked the last couple years but landon was someone that i would and will always hold so close to my heart, i know you’re up there looking down on all of us, i love you so deeply landon, rest easy love”
Deputies were alerted to the scene in the 700 block of Farm to Market Road 156 near Haslet at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday following reports of a one-vehicle accident. According to information released by the sheriff’s office via a news release and on social media, the accident involved a motorcycle colliding with a guardrail.
Regrettably, the driver of the motorcycle did not survive the collision and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as Landon Charles Fuson, a resident of Newark, Texas. His cause of death was reported as blunt force injuries.
As authorities continue their investigation into the tragic incident, they are working diligently to determine the precise factors that contributed to the fatal crash. The community mourns the loss of a young life in this heartbreaking accident.
