The post, made by an acquaintance who shared a memorable evening with Jake, expressed condolences to his family, particularly mentioning Nik Bustillo. The circumstances surrounding Jake Bustillo’s death remain undisclosed, deepening the sense of sorrow within the community.
Educational Background:Jake Bustillo, a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School in 2004, pursued higher education at Benedictine College. In 2008, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management. His professional journey began at Waddell & Reed in Kansas City, where he served as a Mutual Fund Specialist from May 2010 to April 2013, overseeing the Financial Accounts of shareholders.
Simultaneously, Jake worked as a Claims Adjuster for Farmers Insurance during the same period. Following this, he assumed the role of a Field Engineer at SAK Construction, LLC, overseeing the operation and maintenance of sub-terrain robots from April 2013 to October 2016.
Career Highlights:Moving forward, Jake contributed his skills and expertise to Kissick Construction Company, Inc. as a Project Engineer for four years and two months, from October 2016 to November 2020. Subsequently, he took on the role of Project Manager at Genesis Environmental Solutions, Inc. in Blue Springs, Missouri, for a year.
His dedication led to a promotion to Senior Project Manager at Rodriguez Mechanical Contractor, where he worked from October 2021 to June 2022. Following this, he briefly served as a Project Manager with Gallagher Construction Services in Grapevine, Texas, from June 2022 to November 2022, before joining KEAR Civil Corporation as a Project Engineer.
