Cause of death of Jorge Bacardi

On September 23, 2020, Jorge Bacardi died suddenly at his home in the Bahamas’ Lyford Cay, a gated community. He was 76 years old when he died. Leslie Bacardi, Jorge’s wife, and Carmen, his sister, are still alive.

Joaquin and Alberto, his brothers, have left. Bacardi’s CEO admits that in the years after his lung transplant, his lung capacity was checked at 128% and he was still able to participate in outdoor activities.

He thanked the person who saved his life on a regular basis. Eric and Grace Gregory, who knew Jorge, were the parents of Christopher Gregory. Jorge sent them pictures of himself “with Chris” doing things like fishing that the young man’s lungs could do. Jorge’s new lease of life was reflected by Christopher even in his obituary.

Therefore, the Gabriel Care Home at the Mayo Clinic pays tribute to Christopher and recalls the extraordinary challenges Jorge Bacardi overcame. Care homes continue to provide comfortable accommodation for patients and their carers while they continue their cancer treatment or organ transplant.

Less information about Jorge Bacardi

Jorge persevered despite suffering from a difficult lung illness and even lived past the age of 40, which the medical establishment considers extremely unusual. However, the disease that was originally thought to have been caused by Jorge, was actually a congenital disorder known as primary biliary dyskinesia, which was only diagnosed in the late 1990s. With no other choice and his condition worsening, Jorge signed up for a lung transplant.

Due to the unexpected passing of organ donor Christopher Mark Gregory, who passed away at the age of 19 from a brain aneurysm, Jorge was given a matching set of lungs. As a result, Jorge underwent a seven-hour lung transplant procedure at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on March 27, 2008, after having two lungs that hadn’t healed for 64 years. The surgery was a success and for the first time Jorge was able to breathe thanks to a healthy lung.
