Denmark, WI – The tight-knit community of Denmark, Wisconsin, is grappling with the unexpected passing of a beloved son, brother, and father. John “Johnny” Guns, aged 29, tragically lost his life on September 1, 2023, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

John was born on May 9, 1994, to Jesse Guns and Kristie Van Noie. He proudly graduated from Denmark High School in 2012 and was deeply committed to his job at Kruczek Construction, a role he found genuine enjoyment in.

Beyond his work, John was a man of many passions. He relished in hunting, fishing, playing pool, and cherishing moments spent with his siblings and friends. However, the true source of his boundless happiness was his fiancée and love of his life, Brooke Tenor, along with their three cherished children: Heather (3), Clayton (2), and Harper (2 months).

Described as an exceptional brother and friend, John had an enormous heart and an infectious laughter that brightened the lives of those around him. His one-of-a-kind personality had a remarkable ability to bring out the best in others, and his memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.

John was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Guns, but his memory lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He is survived by his fiancée, Brooke, and their three children, as well as his parents, Jesse Guns (Jeanne Parrett) and Kristie Van Noie (Jim Horswill). John’s siblings, Ray Guns (Casey May), Cheryl (Robert) Peck, Faith Guns (Joey Bosman), Lee Guns (Nina Rabas), Paige Guns, Armani Guns, and Jaylee Dianna, mourn his loss deeply. His grandparents, Janet (Milt) Fonferek, Paul, and Maxine Van Noie, also remember him with love. Additionally, John’s nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts, as well as countless friends, carry cherished memories of their time with him.
