Jim Bligh’s career was marked by his unwavering dedication to the golf industry. He began his journey at Twin Oaks Golf Complex, where he served as the General Manager and Director of Golf Operations/Teaching Professional. Later, he co-founded Golf Swing Technologies and the Golf Performance Institute, showcasing his innovative spirit and commitment to the sport he loved. His expertise extended to Leawood South Country Club, where he contributed as an Assistant Golf Professional and Members Service Manager.
Beyond the golf course, Jim’s talents shone in the realm of multimedia production. He served as the Video Productions Manager at 810 WHV Tv in Overland Park, Kansas, displaying his versatility and creativity. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to become the owner and president of KCMG Broadcast Group in Chillicothe, Missouri, where he made significant contributions to the local broadcasting landscape.

A dear friend and broadcasting colleague Jim Bligh passed away…I met Jim years ago while working for the Sedalia Bombers..We continued to work together during my time as the voice of the Owls. We talked shop a lot and visited often when we traveled in the same circles….Rest In Peace Jim….Tonight’s Broadcast is in your honor my friend.”
