Jamie Benn started his professional sports career with the “Kelowna Rockets” at the junior level. He is a midfielder who scored more than 60 points in his first season 2007-08. Benn has developed into a fine player, with more assists than goals and a knack for providing assists for his teammates to score crucial points. He won the 2009 Memorial Cup in Quebec while playing with this team. He was then promoted to the wider NHL stage and joined the Dallas Stars in 2009, scoring his first goal in October of that same year.
In October of the same year, Benn also competed abroad. From 2012 to 2013, he also played for the Hamburg Freezers in Germany. Then, in 2013, Benn dropped his contract and returned to the NFL.
