“Larry Schuberg passed away yesterday and our community lost a hometown hero. Larry was like the big brother I never had. He was always positive and a rock for myself and our family.I had the opportunity to coach football and baseball with him. It was some of the most fun I have had coaching. His relationship with his players and parents was the definition of team and family.“I idolized him when I was young watching him truck opponents on the football field. I would argue, at the time, Larry was the best running back to come out of Big Rapids!You are already missed by all those you have touched. In writing this I just want to say thank you and I love you one more time.“Each day is a gift, a blessing, and a chance to live life like Larry.”
