Law enforcement responded to an urgent call reporting a mass shooting involving 20 victims at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Buffalo, New York. Police, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and a SWAT team swiftly raced to the scene upon receiving the distress call shortly before 8 a.m.
However, upon investigation, authorities found the alarming report to be false. The purported mass attack was declared erroneous by hotel staff, leading to a sigh of relief as it turned out to be a hoax.
The incident, which initially prompted panic and a rapid response from law enforcement, fortunately did not result in any injuries or casualties, as confirmed by the hotel staff.
