He was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and has been fighting for his life ever since. He is more stable now, but will have a long road to recovery. On 9/11, Son Elijah age 18, was returning from a visit at Ferris State, when he was involved in a car accident on SB 131 in Cedar Springs. Sadly, Elijah did not survive. He was a 2023 graduate of Caledonia High School and a fantastic athlete with a promising future. The Holt family could use all the love and support as they continue to navigate the unthinkable.
