Elijah, who had a bright future ahead, tragically lost his life in a fatal car accident on Monday, September 11, 2023. On 8/24, Dad, Curtis was on WB 96 near Lansing when his vehicle was swept up in the tornado, tossing him around and mangling his vehicle. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and has been fighting for his life ever since. He is more stable now, but will have a long road to recovery. On 9/11, Son Elijah age 18, was returning from a visit at Ferris State, when he was involved in a car accident on SB 131 in Cedar Springs. Sadly, Elijah did not survive. He was a 2023 graduate of Caledonia High School and a fantastic athlete with a promising future. The Holt family could use all the love and support as they continue to navigate the unthinkable.
