Dublin man Jason Hennessy link to Blanchardstown Shooting

Social media buzz surrounding a possible connection between Jason Hennessy, a Dublin resident, and the recent Blanchardstown shooting on Christmas Eve is circulating widely. However, law enforcement authorities have not provided any official confirmation regarding this claim.

A post by Michael O’Keeffe, a figure with considerable online presence, asserted that the individuals involved in the Blanchardstown shooting were Jason Hennessy and his father, supposedly linked to the Corduff Feud between Mr. Flashy and The Hennessy’s. O’Keeffe, known for his sizable following and a bio referencing his Irish identity, shared details suggesting that Jason Hennessy and his father were victims of the shooting, hinting at a possible retaliation scenario related to the Finglas incident. Notably, O’Keeffe’s post garnered significant traction, with approximately 926K views at the time of this story’s circulation.

However, the Gardai, the Irish police force, has not confirmed any association between the shooting victims and the Hennessys. The tragic incident in Blanchardstown resulted in the death of a young man in his 20s and severe injury to another man in his 40s, prompting an immediate criminal investigation by the authorities.

O’Keeffe continued to suggest that the shooting in Dublin is a manifestation of gangland conflict, mentioning a long-standing feud over drug territory and past grudges since 2018/19. Yet, none of these assertions have been officially substantiated by the Irish authorities.

Moreover, Jason Hennessy’s past includes contentious episodes. He was previously denied bail in a case concerning allegations of withholding information about his vehicle, which was purportedly involved in a serious incident. Reports also cite his involvement in an incident of criminal damage at Blanchardstown Garda Station in 2020, where he was later acquitted of charges.

The situation remains unverified, with social media speculation painting a narrative that lacks official confirmation from the authorities in Ireland.
