Cru Lounge DC shooting: 1 person passes away & 3 injured as result of shooting

Washington, D.C. – Tragedy struck late on Saturday night in the Northeast, as a shooting incident unfolded at Cru Lounge DC, resulting in the loss of one life and injuries to three others. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) swiftly responded to the scene, and their investigation into the incident remains ongoing. The disturbing incident occurred at approximately 11:54 p.m., as reported by the D.C. Police Department, within the premises of a nightclub situated in the 1300 block of H Street, NE.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, four individuals were transported to nearby hospitals following the shooting. Among them were three males and one woman. Tragically, one of the male victims succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital, while the other three patients received medical attention for injuries that are fortunately not believed to be life-threatening.

The police are actively seeking a suspect in connection with the incident, described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The suspect was last seen fleeing in the opposite direction on H Street in the Northeast.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in their ongoing investigation.
