According to neighbors, a car was seen turning around. On Friday, tire tracks could be seen in the grass and on the ground. Additionally, neighbors reported hearing gunshots in a dead end near the park. When Bolingbrook police arrived on the scene, they spotted Lahoz and tried to save his life, but it was too late. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead.
Lahoz was praised by his friends as extroverted, dedicated, and selfless. She managed a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts for a long time and has a longtime girlfriend.
