Cowboy Wiley death –  Floydada Fire Department Firefighter Donald Wiley, fondly known as Cowboy, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. The heartfelt announcement of his passing was conveyed through a poignant Facebook post, evoking an outpouring of condolences and prayers from the community.

“LLCWHe sure was one of a kind..a character that Cowboy truly was and he truly will b missed along with momma Wiley. Today Cowboy took his last ride here in earth as a great fire man..thank u Cowboy for ur services as a firefighter.dog catcher. From floydada to matador to Paducah the firemen from each town escorted Cowboy to each county line.. definitely well known.very much respected and appreciated by many and loved by allRIP Cowboy and momma WileyWiley Chris and y’all’s grand kids are gonna b just fine..after all y’all did raise some pretty awesome independent hardworking strong kids..thru them forever the both of u will forever b remembered.I love y’all gunna miss y’all mucho.Please continue to keep my Wiley and family in prayer.”
