Columbus, OH – The passing of Christi Bambeck, a retired motorcycle racer and artist from Columbus, Ohio, has left a profound void among those who knew her. Christi bravely battled cancer and peacefully departed on Monday, November 20th, 2023, leaving friends and acquaintances reeling from the loss.
Confirmed through a poignant Facebook post, the farewell message expressed the deep sorrow at bidding adieu to Christi Bambeck, the founding Director of Sportbike Track Girl. Her courageous battle with cancer was marked by her unwavering spirit and a unique sense of humor that transcended the somber reality of her final journey.
Christi Bambeck’s educational journey began at Columbus State Community College before she pursued further studies at Northern Kentucky University. Her professional tenure commenced as an Account Manager at WWCD 101.1 FM, followed by roles at Insight and SARCOM PC Mall Services, where she showcased her dedication and expertise in account management.

“While im on my setimental soap box… I would like to share one other positive side of facebook.This woman and i never met, yet we found ourselves in similar circles, and ended up friends on facebook and exchanged a few “nice art”s, “don’t you miss racing?”‘s “Hows your grandmother” etc.“She is gone now, (stupid Cancer) way to early. However, she was told a year ago she had less than a month. Her Bravery, compassion, and gratitude over this last year have left me awe inspired. I know this feeling i have will not comapre to her family’s and friends but I def can feel the loss as well as she gifts she gave. RIP dear Bam Christi Bambeck thank you always for the kind words about grandmother.“I know social media is stupid, and not a true reflection of the world (very currated) but sometimes, just sometimes theres something really positive about it even in the sadess of circumstances.”
