Season 11 of Chicago Fire will debut on NBC on September 21, 2022, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The next season will honor the series’ tenth anniversary, with the first season premiering in 2012. It will be shown with Chicago Med and Chicago PD.
According to the series’ IMDb synopsis:
“The narrative of firemen and paramedics in Chicago, both personally and professionally.”
Season 11 of Chicago Fire will pick up after Lieutenant Kelly Severide and Stella Kidd’s wedding in the last episode of season 10. Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Kara Kilmer, David Eigenberg, Joe Minoso, Christian Stolte, Miranda Rae Mayo, Alberto Rosende, Daniel Kyri, Hanako Greensmith, Eamonn Walker, and Jake Lockett will all appear in the future season.
What can we anticipate from Chicago Fire season 11?
While the forthcoming season’s details are being kept under wraps, executive producer Derek Haas told ET Online:
“Season 11 begins at a breakneck speed, picking up exactly where we left off with Severide and Kidd last season – and the show never slows down for the whole hour. Let’s just say it’s quite hot. Beginning at the first second.”
Season 11 has a lot of unanswered mysteries, starting with who visited Severide and Kidd on their honeymoon. The season 10 finale, titled The Magnificent City of Chicago, concluded on a cliffhanger as the pair celebrated their wedding on the one hand while being visited by someone from Severide’s past on the other. Someone related to the drug dealer who placed Severide in the hospital is a good hypothesis. When Severide appeared in court to testify against his assailant, one of the dealer’s men attempted to restrain him. A battle erupted, and the unnamed individual was killed.
Aside from that, it remains to be seen how the love connection between Matthew Casey and Sylvie Brett develops. Both characters made their reappearance in the eleventh episode. While Brett was enjoying a vacation from her long-distance relationship with Casey, the latter made the life-changing choice to quit Firehouse 51 and go to Oregon to care for the Darden boys. Brett and Casey addressed their future plans in the season 10 finale, although it is unclear if they will restart their relationship. Meanwhile, a love relationship between Blake Gallo and Violet Mikami may be developing after both were caught sneaking eyes at one other at Severide and Kidd’s wedding.
