Carrie Anna Enlow’s story is one of compassion, resilience, and connection. Born on June 17th, 1969, in Tehachapi, California, she was embraced into the loving care of Maggie (Cole) and Walter Wallace. At a young age, the family relocated to Missouri, where she found a loving home with Hugh Parsons, who eventually adopted her.
Carrie’s life journey was intertwined with her dedication to others. On October 3, 1994, she married Charles Enlow, and although they parted ways earlier this year, their friendship endured. Together, they raised four daughters and nurtured two more, united by their love and care.
Carrie’s spirit was one of adventure and compassion. For 12 years, she embarked on long-haul trucking journeys, relishing every mile she traveled. Her talent extended beyond the road, as she was also a skilled sketch artist. However, her compassion truly shone when it came to animals. A dedicated veterinarian, she tended to creatures of all kinds – from squirrels to skunks, deer to birds – showing her boundless kindness.
Carrie’s love for horses was evident to all who knew her. She found solace and joy in riding these magnificent animals, often spending her free time in their company. Her warmth and care endeared her to countless people, leaving a lasting impression on those who were fortunate to have crossed paths with her.
Carrie Anna Enlow is survived by her extensive family, including children, grandchildren, siblings, and numerous loved ones. Her impact on the community and her unwavering dedication to those around her will be remembered for years to come.
