A Silverado, driven by a 32-year-old Smyrna man, collided with the back of her vehicle, resulting in a devastating chain reaction.

The impact of the collision propelled Caitlynn’s Fiesta into the path of a northbound vehicle on Wheatleys Pond Road, causing it to flip onto its driver’s side. The northbound vehicle also suffered damage as a result of the crash. Tragically, Caitlynn succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle that struck Caitlynn’s car was uninjured, as were the occupants of the fourth vehicle involved in the incident.
