Our entire nation shares their grief.” He acknowledged the daily bravery and selflessness of the service members, emphasizing their willingness to take risks to keep the American people safe.

Madi Gretz shared a post on fb on the death of Cade:

Rest easy to the boy that wouldn’t leave a skateboard, scooter or bmx bike alone as a kid , to the boy that always made everyone laugh , to the boy that always asked me to meet at west just so he could show me that he could indeed do tricks on anything . Rest easy to the man that made a woman a wife , protected our county and made everyone proud. We will Miss you Cade Wolfe

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin characterized the incident as a poignant reminder of the risks that courageous individuals defending the nation face daily. He stated, “They represent the best of America. We will remember their service and their sacrifice.”
