Tempe, AZ – Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating an altercation that unfolded at Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe, Arizona, stemming from a shoplifting incident that led to a physical confrontation and left one individual injured.
According to Tempe Police reports, the incident occurred on Saturday around 5 p.m. at a standalone kiosk within the mall premises. Three suspects were involved in a shoplifting attempt, prompting an employee at the kiosk to intervene and attempt to recover the stolen items. A scuffle ensued, resulting in the employee sustaining a head laceration. Firefighters provided immediate on-site medical treatment to the injured employee.
The three suspects, described as two black females and one black male in their late teens to early twenties, fled the scene on foot and are currently being sought by authorities.
