He embodied unwavering dedication and was known for his infectious cheerfulness, always spreading happiness and delight wherever he went. Aris was a gentle, warm-hearted individual, epitomizing the essence of an ideal best friend.

This is the hardest post I’ve ever attempted to make and it will never do justice to how important of a person Aris Papadakis was to me and everyone who knew him. Such a gentle, kind-hearted, sweet and caring individual. He was the true definition of a “best friend “ and became a brother to my whole family. The countless of times he had my back during my own personal issues and he was always there to make sure you were ok.Ari, you can never be replaced and you will always be remembered. I love you more than words can describe, and we’ll make sure Catherine and your beautiful baby girl are taken care of.Rest in Peace my brother. There is no words to express how I feel, from the early summer days in Greece eating ice cream at Yiayia’s place in Sparti, playing together in Dafni, to me moving here and spending time in Chicago with your brothers and ur friends that took my as family and one of their own, I piece of my heart is been ripped out I will miss you cuzzo, all the convos, you sending pics and videos of Anastasia daily to all the dumb and stupid stuff we did when we I came to Chicago, Aris Papadakis was prob the sweetest person I knew and now he is an angel.!! Visitation to honor Aris Papadakis will take place on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, located at 2701 N. Sheffield Avenue, Chicago, IL. Following the visitation, funeral services will commence at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
