Early life and education
Arielle Free was born in London, England, on July 30, 1990. She began playing the guitar at the age of 12 and started writing songs when she was 14. She attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, where she met the other members of The Big Moon.
Career
The Big Moon was formed in 2012 and released their debut album, Love in the Dark, in 2015. The album was a critical and commercial success, and it helped to establish The Big Moon as one of the leading indie rock bands in the UK. The band has released two more albums, Walking Like We’re Drunk (2017) and Sucker Punch (2020).
In addition to her work with The Big Moon, Arielle Free has also released solo music. Her debut solo EP, Free Years, was released in 2018. She has also appeared in several films and television shows, including The Tunnel (2013-2016) and The Witcher (2019).
