San Marcos, California, encountered a distressing incident culminating in the apprehension of a 27-year-old woman suspected of stabbing her mother.
Responding to a call on the 1200 block of San Elijo Road around 5 p.m. on Friday, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department arrived following reports of a wounded woman. Law enforcement discovered the victim, identifying her daughter as the alleged assailant. Rushed to the hospital, the injured woman’s identity remains undisclosed, with injuries assessed as non-life-threatening.
Anzy McWha, the identified suspect, was located on a nearby hiking route, aided by air support. McWha was promptly taken into custody and subsequently booked into the Vista Detention Facility on suspicion of assaulting her mother.
