Knights Landing, California – The Sutter High School community and the town of Knights Landing are mourning the heartbreaking loss of Amber Zapien, a dedicated student who tragically passed away on September 13, 2023, in a fatal vehicle accident. Her untimely departure has left her school, family, and friends in a state of disbelief.
Amber’s memory is being honored through a heartfelt appeal for financial support shared by her loved ones, reading, “Amber tragically passed away last week at the corner of Bogue and Clements on her way to Sutter High School. Her wonderful family has lost their daughter, their sister, their granddaughter, their niece, their best friend & truly the only way we can help is to support them financially during this tragedy. No parent should ever have to bury their child. Please consider donating to help them😭.”
Amber Zapien was a force to be reckoned with. She embodied the power of determination and wholeheartedly committed herself to every endeavor. Setting high standards for herself, she pursued excellence with unwavering resolve, inspiring those around her to give their best and work diligently toward their goals.
Amber’s heart overflowed with empathy, and she was known for her kindness and sensitivity. Her compassionate nature and readiness to extend a helping hand to those in need were hallmarks of her character.
Kelsie Cummins, a fellow of Amber shared her condulences on the death of Amber zapien. She stated that:
Amber Zapien was a student at Robbins Elementary when I worked there. I had the pleasure of knowing her & being a part of her 8th grade year.Amber tragically passed away last week at the corner of Bogue & Clements on her way to Sutter High School. Her wonderful family has lost their daughter, their sister, their granddaughter, their niece, their best friend & truly the only way we can help is to support them financially during this tragedy.
